What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. That happens in two places. The contact form collects your name, email, and anything you include in your message, with phone and business name optional. The business value estimator collects your name, email, and the answers you provide: industry, approximate revenue, approximate owner earnings, and a few questions about how your business runs, along with the estimate we showed you.

Like most websites, we may also use analytics tools that collect standard usage data, such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what kind of device they use. This data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to you personally, to prepare for conversations you request, and, if you have used the estimator or contacted us about your business, to follow up with relevant information from McNatt Ventures from time to time. Every marketing-style email we send includes a way to opt out, and one reply saying "no thanks" is always enough.

We never sell your information. We never rent it, trade it, or share it with third parties for their marketing. Anything you tell us about your business stays confidential, the same way it would in a private conversation.

Who processes it

A few reputable service providers handle data on our behalf, strictly to run this site: our website host (Netlify) stores form submissions, our contact-form service (Formspree) relays contact messages, our email provider delivers our replies, and our analytics provider (Google Analytics, where enabled) processes usage statistics. Each processes data under its own privacy safeguards and only to provide its service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and estimator submissions for as long as they are useful for an ongoing or potential conversation. If you would like your information deleted, email us and we will remove it from our systems and ask our providers to do the same.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see what we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Just write to brad@mcnattventures.com and it will be handled personally, usually within a few business days.

A few other things

This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. The estimator provides educational estimates only, not appraisals, offers, or financial advice. If we ever make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
